Windsor Castle by Car
5 hour tour

Windsor is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and has been home to 39 of our monarchs. Today the Queen spends more time here than Buckingham Palace! We’ll start by visiting the state apartments (the rooms built to impress the visiting dignitaries and many of which are still used by our Queen today) filled with treasures collected by Kings and Queens through the ages. Also onsite is St George’s Chapel (closed on Sundays) where the blessing of the marriage of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles took place in 2005. We’ll also find here the tombs of King Henry VIII, King Charles I and our present Queen’s parents among many others.
